Catholic Action Center
Celebrating 15 Years of Caring, Action and Connection!

Mother Teresa House
of Respite

In honor of Fr. Larry Hehman's 50 years of service to the Church, people of God and the Gospel, the Catholic Action Center will be opening the Mother Teresa House of Respite: a home for our homeless brothers and sisters who are discharged from hospitals and need a place to heal, to recieve care and connection to services.

"The gift of silence is prayer.
The gift of prayer is faith.
The gift of faith is love.
The gift of love is service.
The gift of service is peace."
Mother Teresa

Thank  you Fr. Larry for your service: your spirit of service will fill the Mother Teresa House of Respite!

Sandwich Ministry

You can now sign-up for open Sandwich Ministry dates right here on our website!

Each night at the Community Inn, sandwiches are provided to guests who may have otherwise gone without food for the day. All sandwiches are made and donated by generous church and service groups, and individuals and families of our community.

We ask that those who sign up make 50 sandwiches, cut them in half and deliver them to the Community Inn (824 Winchester Rd) between 7:00-8:30 on the night scheduled. Sandwiches can be any type and delivered in a container that does not need to be returned.
